5 Ways to Support Your Patients’ Foundational Health

For long-term health, your patients need foundational prevention practices that build resilience to aging and disease.

There are many ways to use Well World™ with different kinds of patients to support them at every stage they are in their health journey.

Well World™ has several different protocols, as well as patient engagement, monitoring, and your own virtual dispensary, to help your patients each step of the way.

All plans in the platform give patients guidance to add more movement into their schedules, as well as adding in daily meditation practice to reduce stress.

When your patients go through each plan, you can have them track their body conditions in their Well World™ app. The app also contains a meditation timer to help them practice, and it can sync with the Apple Health app and Fitbit.

Nutrition Plans to Promote Overall Wellbeing and Fitness

Your more health-minded patients may already know what to do, but they don’t always do it. If they’re complaining about minor aches and pains, but give you excuses like:

  • There’s not enough time to cook or meditate
  • I don’t have energy to work out regularly
  • Work is too busy for me to remember to drink water or stretch

You know these patients would be good candidates for one of these maintenance plans:

Plan 1: Become “habit aware” with Well World™ Food Diary Challenge

It’s difficult to break habits if patients aren’t aware their patterns are affecting how they feel.

You can have your patients do a self-guided food diary challenge to track their conditions, food, exercise, and body metrics before assigning them to a plan.

While there are no meal plans or recipes, your patients will get a real-time view of how they take care of themselves.

Plan 2: Reinforce good habits with the Well World™ Clean Eating Guide

Once your patients are aware of their eating habits, you can assign them the Clean Eating guide to help them clear out unhelpful foods.

While there are no meal plans or recipes, the Clean Eating challenge will show your patients how to eliminate foods that may be causing them minor aches and pains, digestive discomfort, and low energy.

Plan 3: Improve health and fitness with the Well World™ Paleo Challenge

When your patients are ready to make bigger changes in their health and fitness levels, you can assign them a Well World™ Paleo Challenge plan.
This classic Paleo diet includes clean animal proteins, nuts and vegetables, and excludes all grains, dairy and legumes. It comes with recipes, meal plans and guidelines for eating a typical ancestral style diet.

Therapeutic Plans to Reduce Symptoms of Chronic Conditions

You will have patients who come to you with chronic conditions, like prediabetes or cardiometabolic syndrome.

If they already know they need to work on blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar levels, or other health measurements, you can prescribe a therapeutic nutrition plan and supplementation protocol to help them reverse their symptoms.

Plan 4: Support heart health with the Well World™ Mediterranean Diet and Intermittent Fasting plan

This complete diet has recipes, meal plans, and instructions that follow a typical Mediterranean style of eating. It includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, nuts and healthy oils, fish, poultry, whole grains, and low-fat dairy.

With this plan, you can have your patients include a daily fasting window to support weight loss and blood sugar balance.

Plan 5: Promote healthy blood sugar with the Well World™ Cardiometabolic Diet and Intermittent Fasting plan

For patients who are experiencing metabolic dysfunctions and insulin resistance, you can assign the Cardiometabolic Diet with Intermittent Fasting. This program can also be used for those with hypertension or high cholesterol. The recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, and free of added salt.

You can also assign the intermittent fasting time if your patients want to restrict their feeding window daily to help balance blood sugar and lose fat.
